The HU Unveils Echoes Of My Father Video Ahead of Hun Album Release and Announces U.S. Tour with Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson
In a post shared on social media, the group explained that the song is split into two halves: the first part pays homage to fathers, while the second reflects the members’ own experiences as fathers. The HU has previously honored mothers and women in earlier releases, and the new track underscores the influence of men in their lives.
Hun is slated for release on July 24 2026 through Better Noise Music, the American independent rock and metal imprint founded in 2006. The label has issued the band’s earlier albums The Gereg (2019) and Rumble of Thunder (2022) and also represents acts such as Mötley Crüe, Papa Roach and Asking Alexandria.
In tandem with the single, the band announced a U.S. tour running from August 20 to September 20, 2026. The dates are part of the “Freaks On Parade” co‑headlining run featuring Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson, with The HU opening and Orgy supporting the headline pair.
The tour schedule includes 21 amphitheatre dates across North America: - Aug 20 – West Palm Beach, FL (iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre) - Aug 21 – Tampa, FL (MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre) - Aug 23 – Alpharetta, GA (Ameris Bank Amphitheatre) - Aug 24 – Charlotte, NC (Truliant Amphitheater) - Aug 26 – Holmdel, NJ (PNC Bank Arts Center) - Aug 27 – Mansfield, MA (Xfinity Center) - Aug 29 – Burgettstown, PA (The Pavilion at Star Lake) - Aug 30 – Darien Center, NY (Darien Lake Amphitheater) - Sep 1 – Toronto, ON (RBC Amphitheatre) - Sep 2 – Cuyahoga Falls, OH (Blossom Music Center) - Sep 4 – Clarkston, MI (Pine Knob Music Theatre) - Sep 5 – Tinley Park, IL (Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre) - Sep 6 – Noblesville, IN (Ruoff Music Center) - Sep 9 – St. Louis, MO (Hollywood Casino Amphitheater) - Sep 10 – Kansas City, MO (Morton Amphitheater) - Sep 12 – Greenwood Village, CO (Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre) - Sep 14 – West Valley City, UT (Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre) - Sep 17 – Auburn, WA (White River Amphitheatre) - Sep 18 – Ridgefield, WA (Cascades Amphitheater) - Sep 20 – Concord, CA (Toyota Pavilion at Concord)
The HU’s growing international profile is highlighted by its 2019 Billboard Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart win for “Wolf Totem.” The band’s sound fuses traditional Mongolian instruments—such as the morin khuur and tovshuur—with modern heavy‑metal arrangements, a blend they call “hunnu rock.”
Joining the “Freaks On Parade” tour places the group alongside headline acts with massive followings in the hard‑rock and metal communities, offering a platform to reach a broader audience. The tour’s structure—support acts opening for a two‑hour headline set—mirrors the format used on the band’s previous international tours.
With Hun set to drop on July 24, the single and video serve as a promotional lead‑in. The album’s launch will be supported by Better Noise Music’s distribution channels, including streaming services and physical retail outlets.
Looking ahead, the band is in the final stages of album production, distribution arrangements and tour promotion. Fans can expect the full track listing for Hun and additional details on ticketing and merchandise as the release window approaches.
Official channels will continue to provide updates on the album’s progress, tour logistics and any further releases, underscoring The HU’s expanding reach beyond the Mongolian folk‑metal niche into mainstream North American rock circuits.
