HENGE Unveils 75-Date World Tour, First North American Run and New Music Teaser
The UK and Ireland dates kick off on 10 March at The 1865 in Southampton and wind down on 4 April at the Belfast Empire Music Hall. Along the way the band will hit a mix of independent venues that have helped shape HENGE’s reputation for immersive, rave‑inspired live shows: Phoenix in Exeter, The Globe in Cardiff, Trinity in Bristol, The Castle & Falcon in Birmingham, Crookes Social Club in Sheffield, Cambridge Junction in Cambridge, Chalk in Brighton, Village Underground in London, The Waterfront in Norwich, Saint Luke’s in Glasgow, The Grove in Newcastle, New Century in Manchester, Brudenell Social Club in Leeds, Rescue Rooms in Nottingham, The Invisible Wind Factory in Liverpool, Academy in Dublin and the Belfast venue.
Formed in 2015, HENGE has built a catalogue that blends electronic crossover rock with a theatrical “Cosmic Dross” aesthetic. Their debut album Attention Earth! (2018) introduced the band’s four fictional personas—Zpor, Goo, Sol and Nom—while ExoKosm (2020) expanded the sound with sci‑fi themes. The most recent release, Alpha Test 4 (2023), was produced by Jim Spencer and mastered at Abbey Road Studios by Frank Arkwright. Critics have praised the band’s “stimulating extra‑terrestrial sounds” and “blissed‑out, retro‑futuristic madness,” and the group has earned the Independent Festival Awards’ Best Live Act title.
The tour announcement follows a surge in global attention sparked by a live clip of the track “DNA.” The video has surpassed six million views, prompting sold‑out shows and introducing the track’s “Cosmic Dross” style to a broader audience. The clip’s popularity underscores the band’s strength as a live act, with performances described as part gig, part ritual and part interplanetary summit. With the North American dates and the expanded European itinerary, HENGE is stepping into a larger arena. The band has already hinted that new music is forthcoming, suggesting a continuation of the creative momentum that has defined their decade.
At present, HENGE’s 75‑date tour remains the central focus, with tickets already available for the UK and Ireland leg. The band’s next releases are expected later in 2026, and the North American dates are slated for late summer and early fall. Fans can anticipate further tour dates as the band announces additional legs in Canada, the United States and Mexico, with the tour’s progression likely to be accompanied by new material, live recordings and potential festival appearances, keeping HENGE’s live reputation at the forefront of the independent music scene.
