Boston’s noise‑rock trio Miracle Blood has unleashed a new single, “Wasteland,” on June 9 2026, accompanied by a striking video that fits neatly into the band’s upcoming summer tour. The track—recorded during the sessions for the group’s second full‑length, Hello Hell—offers a fresh pulse as the band prepares to hit stages across the Northeast, Midwest and Canada, with a finale at Somergloom Fest on August 7.

The Hello Hell album was produced by Alex Allinson at The Bridge Sound & Stage and mastered by Brad Boatright of Audiosiege. Andrew Wong, the band’s guitarist and vocalist, handled the artwork and video production. The original vinyl pressing of Hello Hell sold out quickly; a second run is now available through Nefarious Industries, pressed on translucent red vinyl with black splatter.

According to Andrew Wong, the new song is a commentary on “living and dying in American consumer culture.” He explains that the track reflects the constant bombardment of advertising—from billboards to social‑media feeds—that shapes consumer habits across a person’s life.

The “Wasteland” video was directed by Wong and incorporates live footage shot by Señor Diablo. The band used material recorded during their touring schedule, including a performance at Mag Bar in Louisville in April, as well as footage of the band traveling in their van and stopping for food. The video reverses the eating scenes, a creative choice that fits the song’s theme and adds visual interest.

The single is available on Spotify and Bandcamp, where it is paired with a B‑side titled “Blazing Entrails.” The track’s release is timed to build momentum for the upcoming tour.

Miracle Blood formed in 2014 in Boston’s underground scene and has built a reputation for high‑energy live performances and a horror‑inspired aesthetic. Since the release of Hello Hell, the band has toured extensively, including a live recording from one of those tours. The new single and video reinforce the band’s focus on themes of consumerism and societal critique, while the tour schedule demonstrates their continued commitment to touring across North America.

The release of “Wasteland” and the announcement of the 2026 summer tour underscore Miracle Blood’s ongoing presence in the noise‑rock and punk scenes. Fans can stream the new single on major platforms, view the video on YouTube, and purchase the second pressing of Hello Hell through Nefarious Industries. The band’s next major event will be the Somergloom Fest performance on August 7, where they will conclude the tour with a full‑band set.
