Pophouse Entertainment Secures Stake in Iron Maidens Catalog, Masters and NIL Rights
Pophouse’s CEO, Jessica Koravos, said the company’s “investment and creative firepower” would help Iron Maiden evolve for decades. Koravos, who joined Pophouse in January 2026, brings arena‑development experience and has overseen projects such as ABBA Voyage and KISS Forever.
The announcement arrives as Iron Maiden gears up to wrap its Run for Your Lives world tour, which began in Budapest on May 27 2025 and is slated to finish in Yokohama on November 25 2026. Notably, this tour is the band’s first in more than forty years without drummer Nicko McBrain; touring drummer Simon Dawson fills the role.
Already, Pophouse and Iron Maiden are collaborating on a major cinematic project that will film the tour. The company also plans to launch interactive fan experiences and develop a “digital universe” centered on the band’s iconic mascot, Eddie. The initiative follows previous interactive ventures, such as the 1999 compilation Ed Hunter and the 2016 mobile game Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast, which drew more than six million players before closing in late 2024.
A week before the partnership was announced, Pophouse hosted a virtual museum experience called Infinite Dreams at EddFest to celebrate Iron Maiden’s 50th anniversary. The event showcased the band’s extensive catalogue, which spans 17 studio albums from 1980’s debut to 2021’s Senjutsu.
Pophouse’s track record in immersive entertainment is evident. The company was a founding investor in ABBA Voyage, a hologram show that opened in London in 2022, and it is producing KISS Forever, a touring avatar band that will debut in 2027. These projects demonstrate Pophouse’s ability to translate legacy acts into new media formats.
The deal follows Pophouse’s earlier acquisition of a majority stake in Tina Turner’s catalog earlier in 2026, signaling a broader strategy of investing in established artists’ intellectual property.
Iron Maiden’s catalogue is a cornerstone of heavy‑metal history, with over 130 million albums sold worldwide and more than 600 certifications. The 1982 album The Number of the Beast remains one of the most popular releases in the genre.
While the press release does not detail specific projects beyond the cinematic tour film and the Eddie‑centric digital universe, it confirms that the collaboration will explore “creative collaborations moving forward.” The partnership is expected to generate additional revenue streams through licensing, merchandising, and digital content.
Industry observers note that the deal reflects a growing trend of music rights firms acquiring legacy catalogs to leverage new technologies. By securing publishing, masters, and NIL rights, Pophouse positions itself to develop multi‑platform content that can reach both long‑time fans and new audiences.
The partnership’s immediate impact will be felt in the upcoming tour film and the planned digital initiatives. Iron Maiden’s fans can anticipate further announcements from the band and Pophouse in the coming months.
This collaboration marks a new chapter for Iron Maiden, providing a partner with the resources and expertise to expand its legacy into immersive media while preserving its core touring presence.
