The Presets, Cut Copy and Ladyhawke Announce Foreverafter Festival Tour
The concept was developed by the Presets’ Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes after years of informal conversations with other artists who shared stages and friendships during the early 2000s. “We’ve made a racket alongside most of these artists for years, onstage and off. This is our idea of the ultimate party. We’ve all talked about it forever, so it’s about time,” the duo said.
Cut Copy frontman Dan Whitford described the tour as a chance to revisit a significant chapter of Australian music. “We came up playing shows with most of these artists. And looking back it was a pretty unique scene, so it will be great to celebrate the spirit of that era with some killer shows!”
Ladyhawke, who has spent the past year working on new music expected in 2026, added that the lineup would bring together familiar faces and fresh talent. “Getting the crew back together with some fresh faces too. It’s gonna be awesome, don’t miss this one.”
The lineup spans multiple generations of Australian electronic music. The Presets remain one of the country’s most decorated acts, having won seven ARIA Awards and achieving triple‑platinum status with their 2008 album Apocalypso, which produced the enduring single “My People.” Cut Copy’s 2008 album In Ghost Colours debuted at No. 1 on the Australian charts and has kept the band in the international spotlight. Bag Raiders are known for the worldwide hit “Shooting Stars” and have accumulated billions of streams across their catalogue. Bang Gang DJs were part of the early 2000s electroclash movement that helped define the Australian club scene. FUKHED, a Brisbane‑born, Sydney‑based producer, has performed at festivals such as Beyond The Valley and Subsonic and released a series of techno‑driven tracks that have positioned her among the country’s emerging electronic talents.
Frontier Touring is promoting the festival. The company’s Sahara Herald praised the sense of camaraderie behind the concept, noting that the artists “all create sounds which have made and continue to make waves that will last forever.”
Tickets for Foreverafter will go on sale on Tuesday 7 July at 2 p.m. local time. Frontier members can access a presale beginning Monday 6 July at 1 p.m. local time.
The event comes at a time when nostalgia‑driven festivals centered on specific eras continue to attract audiences. By combining artists whose careers developed alongside one another while also introducing newer names, Foreverafter aims to celebrate the enduring influence of Australia’s electronic music scene and point toward its next chapter.
The three‑date run will provide fans with a concentrated look at the sounds that shaped the country’s dance and indie‑electronic scenes in the 2000s, while also showcasing the evolution of the genre into the present day.
For those interested in attending, tickets are available through the Frontier Touring website and other ticketing partners. The Presets, Cut Copy and Ladyhawke have not announced any additional dates beyond the three scheduled shows.
The festival’s focus on collaboration and shared history reflects a broader trend in the Australian music industry, where veteran acts are increasingly partnering with newer artists to create events that appeal to both long‑time fans and younger audiences.
As the dates approach, the event is expected to generate interest from media outlets covering Australian music, festival culture and the ongoing resurgence of early‑2000s electronic acts.
The Presets, Cut Copy and Ladyhawke have confirmed that the lineup will remain unchanged for the three scheduled dates, and no additional acts have been announced.
The event is scheduled to conclude on 30 January 2027 in Brisbane, after which the artists will return to their respective touring and recording schedules.
The festival’s promotion and ticketing details are available on the Frontier Touring website, and fans can follow the artists’ official channels for updates.
Overall, Foreverafter represents a deliberate effort to bring together key figures from Australia’s electronic music boom of the 2000s in a concise, high‑profile touring format, offering audiences a curated experience of the genre’s past and present.
