Noah Hill Launches Solo Debut Its All in My Head Amid Personal Turmoil and Upcoming Tour
On 24 June 2026, Hill released “It’s All in My Head” through Because Music, the French independent label that has signed acts such as Justice, Christine and the Queens, and Shygirl. The track is now streaming on every major platform.
The song was written in the quiet of Hill’s family home in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales during the Christmas period. He described that time as “a disorientating period of my life, in which a relationship ended and I battled a health scare.” In an interview, Hill said, “It felt like the rug had been pulled out from under me. I sort of fell apart.”
The lyrics mirror that inner struggle, offering a calm voice for a racing mind. Hill explained that the track emerged from that battle: “It was a true battle, which makes sense, because I was battling my mind at the time.” The result is a reflective meditation on how anxiety can make life feel unstable.
Hill handled every technical detail of the single, from arrangement to final mix, describing the process as “working very hard.” His full creative control is credited in the liner notes.
A companion music video, shot in Sydney, was co‑directed by Hill and his longtime friend Cai Leplaw. Hill said, “When the time came to visually represent these songs, there was no better person to help tell the story.” The video is available on YouTube and other video platforms.
In addition to the release, Hill announced headline shows in Australia and abroad. He will perform at Sydney’s Unholy Playhouse on Wednesday, 22 July, and at Melbourne’s Wesley Anne on Friday, 24 July. Tickets are on sale through the venues’ official websites. Further dates are slated for the United Kingdom, United States, and Europe in September, though venues and dates remain to be announced.
Because Music, founded in 2004 by Emmanuel de Buretel and Eric Bielsa, is known for its eclectic roster and has now partnered with Hill for his first solo release outside of Parcels.
Parcels, formed in 2014 in Byron Bay before relocating to Berlin, have been touring while Hill composed his solo material. The group’s 2018 self‑titled debut and subsequent releases blend electropop and disco‑soul. Hill said his decision to step away from the band’s touring schedule was driven by questions about whether the “extreme lifestyle on tour would be sustainable for me.”
The Northern Rivers region, a subtropical area that includes Byron Bay, Ballina, and Grafton, provides a mild climate and coastal backdrop for Hill’s creative process.
At present, Hill’s solo debut is gaining traction on streaming services, and his upcoming shows will allow fans to experience the new material live. No further releases have been announced, but the artist’s next steps will likely follow the momentum of this initial solo effort.
