Kim Wilde Announces 13-Show Singles Tour Across UK, Supported by Tiffany
Wilde said the tour, titled the “Singles Tour,” will feature fan favorites such as “You Came,” “You Keep Me Hangin’ On,” and “Never Trust a Stranger,” alongside tracks from her 2025 album Closer and fresh songs she’s writing with brother Ricky Wilde and niece Scarlett Wilde. In an interview with Contact Music, she said she is “really excited” about the run. “I’m doing 13 shows starting in Bristol, which is actually really weird because Bristol was the place where I did my first UK gig ever back in 1983,” she told the reporter. “I’m excited. When you’re 65 and, well, I’ll be 66 then, and still singing the songs that people love.”
The artist explained that her set stays current because she is still in the studio. “We are still making new music,” she said. “At the moment, my brother Ricky and I are in the studio, actually with Scarlett, my niece, who is my backing singer. We’re writing next year’s album.” She added that the tour will include “the latest singles” and that she and Ricky have not yet finalized the set list, but expect to weave together many of her singles.
All 13 dates will also feature American pop singer Tiffany as a support act. Wilde praised the former 1980s teen idol, saying she has worked with her before and is “really excited” to share the stage. “She’s incredibly talented, and she still has that fantastic voice, but she also has a huge personality,” Wilde said.
Wilde reflected on a formative touring experience in 1988, when she performed 33 shows with Michael Jackson across Europe and the UK, including seven nights at Wembley. “It completely raised my own personal game as a performer,” she recalled. She noted that she has not yet seen the Michael Jackson biopic but said she learned a great deal from watching Jackson’s stage presence.
Health and fitness are a priority as the singer prepares for the tour. “It’s a year‑round thing. I train with a personal trainer a few times a week. I don’t drink alcohol, which I used to do a lot,” she said. “I’m very mindful and informed about eating well and the kind of stuff I put in my mouth.” She added that she feels “better about herself” as she ages.
The itinerary revisits venues that have hosted Wilde over the years: after Bristol, she will play Liverpool Philharmonic, Gateshead Glasshouse, Edinburgh Usher Hall, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Manchester Bridgewater Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, London Palladium, Brighton Dome, Bournemouth Pavilion, Nottingham Royal Concert Hall, Sheffield City Hall, and finally York Barbican.
Wilde’s career spans more than four decades. She won a Brit Award for Best British Female Solo Artist in 1983 and has had 25 singles in the UK top 50 between 1981 and 1996. Her 15th studio album, Closer, was released in 2025, and she is currently recording a new record for 2026. She has stated that her passion for pop music remains unchanged and that she is proud of her ability to keep writing and performing.
Tickets for the “Singles Tour” are on sale through official retailers. Fans can expect a set that blends nostalgic hits with fresh material, backed by Tiffany’s contemporary pop style.
