When the sun rises over Unity Township, a different kind of field is being prepared—not for crops, but for music. Luke Bryan’s 2026 Farm Tour will bring the country star to this rural Pennsylvania community, where 1846 Farms will host its first concert. Thousands of tickets have already been sold for the September 17 show, and the farm is undergoing extensive preparation to accommodate the event.

1846 Farms was purchased by the Stas family in 2022. The property includes a barn that was built in 1846 and a surrounding event center. The family intended to restore the barn and use the space for small community events. Over the past months they have renovated the barn and cleared portions of the acreage to create a suitable venue.

Around April 1–2, the Stas family received a call from Luke Bryan’s team. The family initially thought it was an April Fool’s prank. The team asked whether the tour could return to Westmoreland County. The last time the tour visited western Pennsylvania was in Smithton in 2024. Stas said that when tickets went on presale, almost 12,000 were sold—about the capacity of the original Plan A venue.

To meet the demand, 1846 Farms must clear approximately 26 acres. The work involves bulldozers, brush removal, and planting and seeding. Parking will be on the hillside at one end of Bell Memorial Church Road, while the venue will be on the opposite side once the land is leveled. The adjustments could allow more than one concert at the site. Local agencies will coordinate traffic and fan flow on the day of the show.

The proceeds from the concert will be donated to efforts that preserve American farmlands. Stas said that Luke Bryan brings local publicity to farmers and that the event celebrates the role of farmers in American history.

Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour is a concert series that began in 2016. The 2026 tour includes dates in Latrobe, Pennsylvania (September 17), Millersport, Ohio (September 18), and Brookston, Indiana (September 19). The Unity Township stop is part of that series.

The concert is scheduled for September 17, 2026. 1846 Farms is working to meet capacity and safety requirements for the event. The venue may set a precedent for future concerts in rural Pennsylvania. Fans can purchase tickets through Luke Bryan’s official website. No legal or regulatory issues have been reported.

Clearing 26 acres is a logistical undertaking that will take several weeks. The Stas family has contracted local construction firms to operate heavy machinery, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The project will conclude in early September, just in time for the opening ceremony.

By demonstrating that a rural farm can safely host a large‑scale concert, the Unity Township stop could inspire other agricultural properties to consider similar events. Industry analysts note that rural venues offer unique acoustic qualities and community engagement opportunities. If the show meets safety and capacity standards, it may set a new model for touring acts seeking authentic back‑country settings.

The event will not only provide entertainment but also support farmland preservation initiatives in the region, and it may open the door for additional concerts in similar venues across the state.
